About PNES

OUR VISION

Dr. Myers and Dr. Doss are psychologists who have spent their careers working with patients diagnosed with PNES. The purpose of nonepilepticseizureseducation.com is to create a forum for health professionals, patients and their loved ones to get information and education on PNES. The presentations for professionals contained on this website are meant to provide concrete information on how to work with patients with PNES,improve their functioning and strive toward symptom management. The presentations for patients and families are designed to provide valuable information for them to start both managing symptoms but also resume daily activities that have been interrupted by the symptoms. Allied professionals and school personnel will also benefit from specific presentations designed to inform on the diagnosis but also provide practical tips for helping individuals with PNES engage in normal activities, even when symptoms are still present.
